LASG Empowers1,500 People With Micro Enterprise Support

Lagos State Government, has empowered I,500 people during the 2024 Micro Enterprise Support Initiative, through the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.

Speaking the vision behind the life transforming program, Governor Babajide Sanwo- Olu, of Lagos State said: “We remain deeply committed to initiatives that create opportunities, reduce poverty, foster entrepreneurship, and promote economic empowerment for our residents.

“Through skill acquisition, capacity building, and financial empowerment, we can eliminate poverty in Lagos and pave the way for prosperity.

“The Micro Enterprise Support Initiative is a testament to our administration’s dedication to creating a Greater Lagos, where every citizen can contribute meaningfully to our collective progress. It is not just about financial aid; it is about establishing a foundation for self-reliance and unlocking the potential of our women”, he explained

The Lagos Governor noted that: “Every woman, regardless of her background, should have access to resources that can transform her life and her community.
