Primate Prophet Olukayode Adelugba of the C&S Church, El-Messaiah, is a man of God renowned for his prophetic insights into Nigeria’s destiny. Known for accurately predicting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s emergence against all odds in 2023, as well as several other fulfilled prophecies, Primate Adelugba has quietly established himself as a significant prophetic voice in the nation. Despite not being among the most prominent public figures, his consistent track record has earned him the reputation of a “voice in the wilderness.”

In this exclusive interview with ABNews, Primate Adelugba shares his divinely inspired revelations about the current administration, the expectations for Nigeria’s future, and insights into international figures such as current U.S. President elect, Donald J. Trump.

ABNews: Many prophecies and predictions have come to pass in Nigeria. What does God have for this nation in 2025, considering its current situation?

Primate Adelugba: Thank you. God has always shown me that Nigeria is moving to the promised land. For a nation to have a future, there must first be a solid foundation. What our past leaders were supposed to build over 40 years is what our current president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is attempting to establish now.

You cannot repair damage done over decades within four years. Patience is crucial because President Tinubu is doing the right thing. He’s laying a foundation for the future, not focusing on personal gain or re-election, but on building a legacy for future generations.

ABNews: Some citizens feel that the current policies are overwhelming. What’s your take on this?

Primate Adelugba: It’s because the system is new to us. Imagine visiting an office while it’s being arranged—you might not understand what’s going on, but once it’s in order, you’ll appreciate it. President Tinubu has a clear vision, but it takes time for people to see the bigger picture.

ABNews: What about the people surrounding the president? Some argue they might not align with his vision.

Primate Adelugba: That’s why we need prayers. There are many individuals benefiting from the corrupt systems of the past, and they don’t want this change. But Tinubu is determined, and God is guiding him. He’s laying a foundation for regional self-reliance and fairness, where every region works for its development rather than depending on others.

ABNews: What is your message to the Christian community, especially those who oppose the president’s policies?

Primate Adelugba: Many Christians have strayed from receiving the right messages from God. Even when Jesus was alive, not everyone believed in Him, including some of His followers. It’s the same today. We must support what is right and pray for our leaders, even if we don’t fully understand their plans. At the end of the day, their success will benefit everyone.

ABNews: As 2025 approaches, what advice do you have for those making predictions and prophecies about the nation?

Primate Adelugba: My advice is to seek God’s enlightenment and avoid becoming part of the problem. Jesus came to save us, yet He was betrayed by the very people He was helping. Let’s not repeat that mistake. President Tinubu’s aim is to unite Nigeria and create a better future.

ABNews: Given the economic challenges, what is your opinion on the role of churches and wealthy individuals in providing assistance?

Primate Adelugba: The Bible encourages us to help one another, but the problem lies in greed. Many Nigerians want to consume without contributing or being content with what they have. True progress comes from managing resources wisely, sharing with others, and understanding that life has ups and downs.

ABNews: You mentioned earlier that God loves Nigeria more than any other nation. Can you elaborate?

Primate Adelugba: God revealed to me that Nigeria could have faced seven years of war, but His love and intervention prevented it. This regime, despite its challenges, is a divine safeguard against chaos. We must remain patient and trust in God’s plan.

ABNews: There has been noticeable progress in the area of security. What do you think this regime is doing differently?

Primate Adelugba: I must commend them for their efforts. The calmness we’re experiencing now is proof that their strategies are working. With continued prayer and patience, I believe Nigeria will see even greater improvements in security and governance.

ABNews: In one of our previous chats, you mentioned that Tinubu’s regime will last for 54 years.

Primate Adelugba: 40-something years, yes.

ABNews: Going by what is happening in Nigerian politics today, do you still see that stand?

Primate Adelugba: Yes. The way you plant maize, it will take four months before you harvest. If you plant yam, it takes time, and then you harvest. But for someone planting cocoa, it takes about seven to ten years before it starts yielding, but once it does, it continues for life. You only plant cocoa once, and you harvest it every year. This analogy applies here. What Tinubu is laying down now will last longer.

ABNews: Let’s leave Tinubu’s regime for now and come back to the Christian body. Observing the state of Christianity today, we see divisions among denominations. What is your take on this, and what is your advice?

Primate Adelugba: That is how God has ordained it, and no one can change it.

ABNews: Are you saying God is responsible for the divisions?

Primate Adelugba: Yes. God has a plan, and He rules by what some might call “divide and rule.” The purpose is for His work to spread. Though we serve the same God, we give Him different names and practice differently. It is all part of His design.

ABNews: But don’t you think this lack of unity weakens the Christian body?

Primate Adelugba: It may appear so, but God’s wisdom is beyond human understanding. Different denominations serve as advertisements to attract people in different ways. What matters is that we do not condemn one another. Instead, we should work in unity and love, focusing on our shared mission.

ABNews: Earlier, you mentioned that God will not allow Christians to be united, yet you advocate for unity. Can you clarify this?

Primate Adelugba: Those who walk in the Spirit understand God’s ways. Unity, as God defines it, is about working towards the same goal but through different paths. God has unique assignments for everyone, and He doesn’t want all His servants confined to one method or ideology.

ABNews: Let’s shift focus to the expectations of people for 2025. What should they look forward to?

Primate Adelugba: My advice is for people to let God execute His plans. We should not try to help God; instead, we must trust Him, remain prayerful, and support those He is using for His purpose, whether we understand their actions or not.

ABNews: Moving away from Nigeria, Donald Trump recently returned to the political scene in the United States. Do you have any thoughts on his leadership?

Primate Adelugba: Whoever knows how to give and genuinely loves people is a servant of God. Trump has shown traces of love and service, which is why he has been given another opportunity. While attitudes differ, love for humanity is key. I believe he has what it takes to perform well.

ABNews: Do you think he will succeed in his second tenure?

Primate Adelugba: Yes, I see potential in his leadership. His first tenure set the foundation, and the interest people have shown in bringing him back reflects his impact. Though he may have flaws, he has a genuine belief in God, which will guide him.

ABNews: Finally, is there anything else you want Nigerians and the world to know?

Primate Adelugba: My concern is for the Yoruba people. They prayed for gold, and God gave them diamonds, but many don’t seem to recognize its value. Tinubu represents an opportunity for the Yoruba people, yet some fail to see it due to personal interests. Unity and patience are crucial for achieving their dreams.

ABNews: So, you believe Tinubu is essential for Yoruba progress?

Primate Adelugba: Yes. Tinubu is a gift to the Yoruba nation. His leadership can achieve their goals without causing division or harm. However, Yorubas must unite and recognize the benefits of his plans instead of allowing personal interests to blind them.

ABNews: As we approach the new year, many prophets will release predictions. What is your advice to them?

Primate Adelugba: Prophets must seek God’s mind before speaking. Prophecy is not about predicting doom but about interceding and guiding people in alignment with God’s will. Those who speak falsely will be discredited in time. Let prophets focus on prayer and genuine service rather than sensationalism.

ABNews: Thank you, Primate Adelugba, for your time and insights.

Primate Adelugba: Thank you, and may God guide us all.
