The Afenifere National Youth Council of Nigeria, has declared that their recently kidnapped President, Prince Eniola Joseph Olajuni, has been released yesterday.
This was disclosed through its press statement signed and issued by Abiodun Aderohinmu, National Secretary of the Council. The press statement reads:”We are delighted to announce that our president, Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni, has been released, from captivity. He was freed, March 1, 2025, at approximately 6:00 pm.
“The Afenifere National Youth Council expresses its profound gratitude to all individuals, organizations, and well-wishers who stood by us during this challenging period. Your support, prayers, and solidarity were invaluable to us.
“We also appreciate the efforts of the Ilaje Omuro, Coalition of Yoruba Youth Leaders Forum , Dr. Hassan, Asiwaju Nelson, Alh. Yerima Shettima National President Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, Comr. Akeem Adeleke, Otunba Agboola, Omoyele Sowore, Deji Adeyanju, Aisha Yesufu, Rufai Oseni, Pst. Omonehin, Otunba Babatunde Omobone, Otunba Agboola, Wale Omolegbon Odusola, Broadcast Station (AIT, Arise TV, Inspiration Fm, Punch Newspapers, Shara Reporters etc), Online reporters, VON,

Aderohinmu, also informed that Prince is undergoing medical care now. “We would also want to emphasise that security is key and the government holds it a responsibility to her people. May God bless and reward you all.
