In a laudable efforts to mark this year’s international Women’s Day celebration, the association of Nigerian female media professionals under the umbrella of “Women in Media” (Woman N’ Media), are set to hold their annual “International Women’s Day Conference and Awards 2025.
According to a press release by Chairperson of the association and chief host of the event, Dr. Princess Lilian Williams the event which recognizes, celebrates and honours distinguished women achievers in the media and beyond, will hold on Saturday, 8th of March, at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, located at No. 10, Dr. Nurudeen Olawopopo road, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos, by 10am.
According to her, the theme of the conference and awards ceremony is “Accelerated Action”. It will feature life transforming messages from dignified guest speakers for family, professional and skills empowerment. This notable annual women gathering is being supported by eminent media organizations such as: Channels Television, AIT, Arise News Tv, Punch Newspaper , Mitv, Galaxy Tv, Super screen Tv, NTA,Vanguard Newspaper, Nairaland, The Guardian, News Central Tv, The Sun and Newsfrontage Newspapers among others.
In a very commendable efforts to give the event its deserved worthy status as well as celebrate women worldwide , the chief host of the event, Dr Chinyere Williams has encourage women to raise their bar in their various life endeavours. The erudite woman of many parts did this through her recent pre-event message titled “The Power of a Hardworking Woman”
She asked women not relax on their past glory, but arise to achieve more and help others around you to attain greater heights success in all fields of life and in the society.
