Ipetu, Kwara State – In a bid to strengthen party unity and discuss recent developments, the Chairman of Irepodun Local Government Area, Hon. Abdulazeez Tinuola Yakub, and the Member representing Irepodun in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Olushola Odetundun, met with the All Progressives Congress (APC) executives in Ipetu/Rore/Aran-Orin Ward on Friday, March 8, 2025.
During the meeting, which also had in attendance Olayinka Fafoluyi JP anipr, ARPA, Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Kwara State Governor, the party executives were commended for their unwavering commitment to the APC. Discussions centered on progressive strides within the party and fostering unity among members.
Recognizing the significance of the holy months of Ramadan and Lent, the leaders urged party members to embrace reconciliation and forgiveness, encouraging those with past political grievances to use the period as an opportunity for peace and solidarity.
In the spirit of the season, Fafoluyi presented Ramadan and Lent packages to the ward executives and pledged to extend similar outreach to other members at the next ward meeting. The executives expressed appreciation for the gesture and reaffirmed their loyalty to the visionary leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON.
Following the meeting, Hon. Yakub led Fafoluyi on a tour of various projects initiated by his administration in recent months. He emphasized that these projects were not only aimed at enhancing the local government’s aesthetics but also designed to stimulate economic growth, aligning with Governor AbdulRazaq’s development blueprint for Kwara State.
The engagement reflects the commitment of Irepodun LG’s leadership to party unity, grassroots development, and the ongoing transformation agenda in the state.
