Urges Muslims to Promote Peace and Harmony for a Prosperous Kwara, Nigeria

As Muslim faithful across the world celebrate Eid al-Fitr, Hon. Ajewole Damilare Emmanuel has extended his heartfelt greetings to the Muslim community in Kwara State and Nigeria, urging them to uphold the values of peace, unity, and harmonious coexistence.

In a statement marking the end of Ramadan, Hon. Ajewole Damilare Emmanuel emphasized the importance of sustaining the lessons of patience, self-discipline, and compassion learned during the holy month. He noted that these values are essential for fostering a society where love and mutual understanding thrive.

“I congratulate all Muslim faithful on the successful completion of Ramadan and the joyous celebration of Eid al-Fitr. This is a time for thanksgiving and reflection on the virtues of sacrifice, kindness, and togetherness. I encourage everyone to continue to promote peace and harmony, as these are fundamental pillars for the development and prosperity of our state and nation,” he said.

The former lawmaker candidate further stressed that peaceful coexistence among people of different religious and ethnic backgrounds remains crucial in addressing societal challenges and building a stronger, more united Kwara State and Nigeria. He called on all citizens to shun violence, embrace dialogue, and work collectively towards the progress of the country.

“As we celebrate, let us remember that our strength lies in our unity. By respecting one another and fostering peace, we can create a prosperous society where opportunities abound for all. May this Eid bring happiness, good health, and abundant blessings to every home,” he added.
