Hon. Wole Akindele has commended the ongoing revival of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State, describing Hon. (Chief) Dare Adeleke as the strategic force behind the party’s renewed strength and unity ahead of the 2026 governorship election.

In a statement issued from Ise-Ekiti, Hon. Akindele praised Adeleke’s leadership as caretaker chairman, noting that the party has witnessed a remarkable reawakening across the 16 local government areas. He emphasized that Adeleke’s strategic approach and grassroots engagement have restored hope among party faithful and reconnected stakeholders who previously felt sidelined.
“Hon. Dare Adeleke is not just leading—he is rebuilding the Ekiti PDP with vision and purpose,” Akindele stated. “He has brought energy, direction, and unity to the party, setting the stage for a strong comeback in 2026.”
Akindele further highlighted the successful conduct of the ward congress on March 15, 2025, describing it as a key milestone. He acknowledged the delay in releasing the ward executive list due to the National Working Committee’s (NWC) recess during religious festivities, but expressed confidence that it would be approved within the week, now that the NWC has resumed full operations.
He also pointed to the scheduled Local Government Congress on May 3 and the State Congress on May 17 as crucial steps in consolidating the party’s internal structure.
