AJASE IPO — The Executive Chairman of Irepodun Local Government, Hon. Abdulazeez Yakubu, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of His Royal Highness, Oba Olabode Jimoh, the Eleju of Igbonla, describing his passing as a monumental loss to the people of Igbonla and the entire Irepodun community.

In an official condolence message issued by his office, Hon. Abdulazeez described the late monarch as a symbol of peace, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to community progress. He noted that Oba Jimoh’s reign brought unity, fostered development, and upheld the rich cultural traditions of the Igbonla people.

“I extend my heartfelt condolences to the royal family of the late Oba Olabode Jimoh and the entire Igbonla community. His demise has left a significant void in our hearts, and I pray that God grants all those affected the strength to bear this irreparable loss,” he said.

The Chairman also paid tribute to the contributions of the Eleju to the Irepodun Local Government Traditional Council, commiserating with the leadership of the council headed by HRM Oba Ismail Atoloye Alebiosu, the Olupo of Ajase Ipo.

“Oba Olabode Jimoh’s legacy of leadership and love for his people will continue to inspire future generations,” Hon. Abdulazeez added.

He concluded by praying for the peaceful repose of the monarch’s soul and the continued strength of the Igbonla community in the wake of this profound loss.
