OMU-ARAN — His Royal Majesty Oba AbdulRaheem Oladele Adeoti, the Olomu of Omu-Aran, has heaped glowing praises on Olayinka Fafoluyi, the Akeweje of Aran-Orin Kingdom, for his remarkable leadership qualities, sterling character, and growing influence that transcends local boundaries.
In a heartfelt testimony, Oba Adeoti reflected on Fafoluyi’s growing reputation, describing him as a young leader whose conduct and achievements continue to draw admiration across various strata of society. The monarch recalled a particular occasion when Fafoluyi attended a meeting of the Irepodun Traditional Rulers Council, where his exemplary comportment and the calibre of dignitaries who accompanied him spoke volumes about his rising stature.
“There is barely anywhere Olayinka Fafoluyi goes without leaving a lasting impression through his admirable deeds,” the monarch stated. “During our meeting at the Irepodun Traditional Rulers Council, he distinguished himself remarkably. The calibre of dignitaries who accompanied him, including retired Majority-General Olayemi Lasisi Abidoye and the Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bola Mogaji, among others, is a testament to his character and the high regard in which he is held.”
Oba Adeoti further emphasized the significance of Fafoluyi’s appointment as the first Akeweje of Aran-Orin Kingdom, noting that the honour was well-deserved despite his relatively young age. According to the royal father, the title carries great responsibility, which Fafoluyi has continued to bear with grace and dignity.
“You have earned the title as the first Akeweje of Aran-Orin at a youthful age, a prestigious honour well deserved. May your days be long, and may no sorrow befall your household as you carry the mantle of the Akeweje of Aran-Orin Land,” he prayed.
The Olomu of Omu-Aran also highlighted that every attribute listed in Fafoluyi’s citation accurately reflects his personality, describing him as a globally recognized figure whose name resonates beyond the shores of Nigeria.
“Everything mentioned in your citation perfectly reflects your personality. That is truly who you are — a worldwide individual whose name echoes beyond Nigeria,” Oba Adeoti declared.
In his remarks, the monarch also commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, for recognizing Fafoluyi’s potential and appointing him as the Senior Special Assistant on New Media, a position he continues to hold with distinction.
“The people of Kwara, including His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, hold you in high esteem. This is why you were appointed as the Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Governor. It is a position you have handled excellently, and your contributions are evident for all to see,” he added.
The monarch concluded by offering his prayers and well wishes for Olayinka Fafoluyi, urging him to continue upholding the virtues and responsibilities attached to his position as the Akeweje of the Aran-Orin Kingdom.
The recognition by the Olomu of Omu-Aran adds to the growing list of commendations for Olayinka Fafoluyi, who has become a symbol of youth leadership, excellence, and service not only in Kwara State but across Nigeria and beyond.
