…Says 2027 Belongs to Atiku, Urges Obi to Wait and Align for Destiny Fulfillment

ABAKALIKI — The General Overseer of King of Kings Deliverance Ministry, Prophet Emmanuel Chukwudi, has declared that Peter Obi, former governor of Anambra State and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, is divinely destined to become President of Nigeria — but not in 2027.

Addressing journalists in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital, the fiery preacher revealed that God has shown him repeatedly that Obi is part of a divine agenda for Nigeria’s leadership, but his season is yet to come.

“Peter Obi is chosen by God to lead this nation, but it is not yet his time,” Prophet Chukwudi said. “If he insists on contesting in 2027 on his own, he will not win. He must be patient and work with Atiku Abubakar, through whom God will prepare his path.”

According to Chukwudi, the Labour Party figure should not be swayed by online support or emotional calls to recontest solo in 2027, warning that there are spiritual battles and unseen forces surrounding the party that could sabotage Obi’s ambition.

“God has told me that Atiku must rule in 2027. He is the vessel God wants to use next. Obi’s presidency is sure, but only if he supports Atiku now. After Atiku, Obi’s turn will come,” he declared.

Drawing from scriptural parallels, the prophet likened Obi’s current situation to the biblical David, who was anointed king but had to wait until God’s appointed time to ascend the throne.

“God used Samuel to anoint David, but David had to wait. That’s how it is with Obi. His journey to Aso Rock is divine, but he must not rush. There’s a process, and Atiku is a key part of that process,” he said.

Chukwudi, known for his accurate political prophecies — including Jonathan’s presidency in 2010 and Buhari’s emergence in 2015 — added that voices urging Obi to contest again in 2027 are being influenced by political forces that do not have his best interest at heart.

“They want to use him to scatter the opposition and keep Nigerians suffering. If Obi listens to them, he’ll miss God’s plan. But if he aligns with Atiku now, his own time will surely come,” he said.

The prophecy has stirred a wave of reactions, especially among Obi’s supporters and political observers, who are now re-evaluating the dynamics of 2027 and the potential for new political alliances.

With the 2027 election fast approaching, Prophet Chukwudi’s message adds a spiritual twist to the national conversation — presenting Peter Obi not as a leader whose dream has ended, but as one whose time is still on the way.
