Multiple award winning African Gospel music legend, Dupe Olulana has dazed all and sundry with her unusual but worthy romantic celebration of her producer, manager, promoter, band founder and husband, Pastor Winston Kolawole Olulana, as he clocked 70 years on Friday September 5, 2025, to the glory of God.
The amiable internationally acclaimed Gospel artiste, with so many evergreen hit songs, gave Pastor Olulana, her darling husband, a very rare heartwarming, incredible, sweet and romantic birthday gift, which is still making waves within and outside the entertainment industry.
The global trotting Gospel artiste, went the extra mile for the first time beyond her strict Christian ideals as a known devout believer (SU Christian) to honour and celebrate her loving husband with a first of its kind deserved public romantic encomium on her social media platform. She excellently wrote with exhilarating poetic and literally intelligence : “Here he is! The favoured one, an instrument of grace and encouragement in the hands of his Maker, our Maker, Maker of all! God’s undeterred servant. Unapologetically Christian, whose faith in the Almighty God remains steadfastly steadfast in the face of WHATEVER!”
She further declared, “I’m forever grateful to the Almighty God for giving you to me, Winston Kolawole Olulana, and for keeping you for me! I don’t even know what I would have been without God bringing us together. You are a real Champion; You taught me how to express myself and you also gave me room for expression! Thanks for all of these. I love you so much my dear husband, Pastor and partner for life! You are blessed! Amen!

Pastor Winston Kolawole Olulana, is a legendary music producer and promoter for over forty years. He is presently, a national director in the board of the Musical Copyright Society of Nigeria (MCSN). The very versatile Pastor Olulana, met his wife Dupe Olulana, while they were members of the legendary Gospel music band, The Assurance Voices in the 70s.
He founded the “Dupe Olulana and the Hosanna Band” and their label, Hosanna Promotion Limited, thereafter. He produced his wife’s debut hit album, “Jesu Mbo”in 1987. Since then he has produced all her evergreen hit songs rendered in Yoruba, Igbo, English and French. In addition, he has produced albums for so many artistes within and outside Nigeria and Africa. He has over the years raised many notable Gospel musicians home and abroad, and he has been involved in building most of the Gospel music structures in Nigeria and Africa, and beyond.
Pastor Olulana is the founding Senior Pastor of Hosanna international Bible Church, Onipanu, Lagos. He was a physiotherapist before becoming a full-time minister of God. In collaboration with his famous wife, he has preached the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to different races globally with impact and testimonies to God’s glory. He is also the publisher of the Christian newspaper and magazine, Gospel Voice and Parents Indeed. He was also the Editor-in-Chief of a Canada-based, global newspaper, known as The Nigerian-Canadian News. The highly talented and hardworking Pastor Olulana is also a prolific songwriter and author with many published books to his credit.
