BREAKING: FUNAAB SUG Secures Approval for 60/40 School Fees Payment Plan

Abeokuta, October 15, 2025 — In a major victory for students of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), the Students’ Union Government (SUG) has announced the successful activation of a flexible 60/40 tuition payment policy.

According to a statement released by the Union (Ref: FUNAABSU-PRO019), students are now permitted to pay 60% of their tuition fees in the first semester and the remaining 40% in the second semester.

The SUG described the development as the result of “extensive and persistent meetings with the school management,” adding that the move demonstrates their unwavering commitment to student welfare.

“This achievement reflects our dedication to addressing your concerns,” the statement read, while urging students to log into the university portal and activate the new payment option immediately.

The announcement was jointly signed by SUG President, Comr. Isaiah Olamilekan Micheal (LEKKYJOE) and PRO, Comr. Oyekan Abdulrahman Ayomide (AY CORPORATE).

Students across campus have begun reacting to the news, describing it as a welcome relief amidst rising economic pressures.
