Evangelists Ministers and Music Ministers from different Churches in Lagos for another hosting of the “Edward Benson Fire Crusade, EBFC, in Lagos, South West, Nigeria.
The long awaited and applauded huge life transforming evangelical socio-economic empowerment movement’s third edition kicked off on Saturday November 8th and will end on Sunday, November 9th. The Crusade is being organized by EBFC Organizing Committee, Ikorodu Local Organizing Committee in collaboration with Penticostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Kosofe, Ikorodu and Itamaga provinces. The theme for this crusade is “From Sorrow To Joy”.
The highly anticipated crusade will feature Evangelist Dr. Edward Benson ministering the word, with other anointed ministers. It will also feature soul inspiring music ministretions from distinguished music ministers such as Pastor Joshua Obuba, Pastor Mrs Mary Olayinka, Pastor Samuel Olaoye,OSA, Pastor Emeka Nwaobilo Minister Modupe Fesojaiye, and the EBFC Mass Choir, comprising of choristers from different Churches in Lagos.
The convener of the crusades, Evangelist Dr. Edward Benson disclosed the Ikorodu edition of the Crusades will be much more graceful than last two year’s editions. Speaking on the vision behind the crusades at a joint meeting of Organizing Committee, Ikorodu Local Organizing Committee, Church leaders and PFN Kosofe and Itamaga provincial officials, Evangelist Benson promised to raise the bar at Ikorodu leg of the crusades. According to him everything about the crusade ranging from the word ministrations, music ministretion, crowd control and empowerment for widows and the less priviledge folks as usually done, will be upgraded. He stated y with the excellent level of preparation they have had for “sleepless nights” for months through the EBFC Organizing Committee, he expects the power of God to move in very dynamic way in Ikorodu to librete people who are bound by demonic forces from accessing their giving blessings. Dr. Benson, also said he that their will be salvation of souls, restoration of lost glory, healings of every sickness, disease and health challenges, signs wonders, and at the end everybody will go home with huge joy from their sorrow.
Speaking in the same vein, the Director-General of EBFC Organizing Committee, Pastor Joshua Olaoye, said that people should come and experience the time power of God in soul salvation, breakthrough, and deliverance at amazing higher dimensions at “Edward Benson Fire Crusade” in Ikorodu. Pastor Olaoye, who is also Kosofe Provincial Chairman of PFN, also declared that there will be creative miracles during the crusades. “During the crusades people should expect creative miracles from God which will heal the blind, raise the crippled, heal the sick, among others at the crusades
The Ikorodu provential Chairman, Commander Peter Olugbemiga Olabode, said in an interview with this reporter, that the crusade is divinely appointed for the complete deliverance of Ikorodu kingdom from the age long demonic forces which has unjustly subjected the kingdom and it’s inhabitants from making her desired progress as ordained by God. ” This is a year of transformation. “Pastor Matthew Asimolowo held a very powerful crusade here, we were involved, and now Edward Benson crusade has come to finally cement God’s marvelous deliverance of the kingdom. It is going to be a power-packed with a unique encounter of God’s power. I called all and sundry not to miss it”.
Pastor Emeka Nwaobilo, the head of the EBFC Mass Choir, and also a guest artiste, assured that the mass choir who have worked so hard with so many rehearsals and vigils will be mightily used by God to bless and nourish souls with their songs ministrations. He asked attendees to watch out for “Open Heaven” song ministration. He promised that the song will make a very big difference in people’s lives and also.
In addition, as a solo artiste who is making his debut in in the crusade, Pastor Nwaobilo said that he is very excited about it, this is because according to him , the crusades affords him the opportunity to showcase his huge musical endowment from God without any limitations. He vowed that God will use him to impact lives at the crusade. He pointed out that he has worked hard for God to use him to unleash His mighty showers of blessings during the crusade.
Pastor Joshua Obuba, a guest music minister and also head of social media, said, that the crusade will rain fulfilled joy of God in Ikorodu and beyond. “That your joy may be fulfilled, John 15:11. For his music ministration, Pastor Obuba, asserted that he God to will use him to bring down His glory for diverse miracles to take place at the crusade.
Meanwhile, a cheering news from the Media Committee. They reported that their initial target audience reaching 30,000 people online, has been far surpassed,
across all media platforms. Our reach has now grown to over 70,000 people and this figure is verifiable”, they submitted. They added that the crusade will steamed live worldwide for the two days.
