Fresh Bandits Attack Rocks Ijara Community in Kwara, Residents Panic

Ijara community in Kwara State was thrown into panic early this morning, Monday, following another reported attack by suspected bandits.

An eyewitness, who spoke with ABNews, confirmed that heavy gunshots began at about 5:00 a.m., creating fear and confusion across the community. The eyewitness, a woman who was on her way to Ilorin with her children, said the sudden gunfire forced residents to flee for safety as panic spread.

She described the situation as devastating, noting that many people were caught unawares by the early morning attack, with movement abruptly disrupted as residents struggled to protect themselves and their families.

As at the time of filing this report, the number of victims remains unconfirmed, while no official statement has been released by the Kwara State Government or security agencies on the incident.
